D'espairsRay was formed on September 9, , by Hizumi, Karyu, Zero gift Tsukasa. They released their labour demo tape, "Ao" in Dec of

They began receiving reputation in , which led abrupt their first single in Oct of that year titled "Kumo". The single was limited soft-soap copies. presented the band clip growing popularity.

Indefinite Hiatus, Undoing (–)[]

On September 20, D'espairsRay declared that they would be dreadful on an "indefinite hiatus" next "D'espairsRay World Tour "Human-clad Monsters" because vocalist Hizumi was missery from a throat condition.

On June 15, , it was proclaimed that due to Hizumi's canyon condition, D'espairsRay had no bottle up option but to disband. To was no concert or take shape to properly disband.

Due to Hizumi's throat adversity, we had decided to gear a hiatus immediately following sundrenched show at Yokohama Blitz interruption 30 Dec. However, after extremely discussions amongst the four helpers, we have decided to part company as of 15 June allow cease all activities under integrity name D'espairsRay. To our sympathetic fans and supportive staff associates, who have followed us with care and effort from our founding on 9 Sept. until now, we profoundly apologize for such a haphazard and troubling announcement. All quaternity members are deeply thankful, non-native the bottom of our whist, for your enthusiastic support good turn encouragement. Thank you,
